In June 2011, the world’s political leaders will gather in New York for the UN General Assembly High Level Meeting in order to renegotiate their commitments to fighting the global AIDS pandemic. Magatte Mbodj, Executive Director of ANCS (Alliance linking organisation in Senegal) will attend as part of the Senegalese delegation and describes what she hopes will be achieved at this meeting.

The impact of the Global Fund on civil society response in Senegal

In July 2010, Senegal and the Global Fund signed a new Round 9 Grant with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
