Del 6 al 8 de septiembre en Montego Bay, Jamaica, se desarrolló la última reunión de una serie de talleres subregionales de Mecanismos Coordinadores de País y Regionales del Fondo Mundial para el SIDA, la Tuberculosis y la Malaria. En esta ocasión participaron países del Caribe anglófono y Haití.

Cumbre de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio: ¿Podremos terminar con la pobreza para el 2015?
Del 20 al 22 de septiembre se desarrollará en Nueva York la Cumbre de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio, con la presencia de 140 líderes y jefes del Estado. Se medirán los avances en la erradicación de la pobreza para el 2015, un objetivo al que se comprometió la mayoría de los gobiernos del mundo.
