Uyapo Ndadi considers the threats made by the UK Prime Minister David Cameron that UK will cut aid to countries with laws which criminalise homosexuality.
This threat is in my view very serious, as aid is important for countries such as Botswana. Whilst I agree with Mr Cameron that gay rights are important and deserve protection and promotion, I totally disagree with the approach he seeks to take. My position is that the British have to engage countries that have anti-sodomy laws to see the need to change them by showing them that the laws are unnecessary. Read the full blog post here
